Anita Barone

Barone played in The Shoes, an episode in Seinfeld's fourth season. She played Gail Cunningham, a chef that wanted Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was one of the cast members on Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's former wife in her first Friends' appearance. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone when she left the show because she wanted to be a part-time character with a bigger role, took her place. Barone was in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the initial season (1995-1996) and The War at Home between 2005-2007. Barone played a role as a co-star in Daddio (2000). Her television credits are Desperate Women Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone received the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her work in movie One Last Ride. In 2010 three years after The War at Home ended its run Barone started her role as a recurring character for Shake It Up, a Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. The actor who plays Barone's husband Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones the ex-husband of the character played by Barone.
